Max Stein | Director

Max has focused his career on social enterprise startups. As a Princeton in Asia fellow, he worked on sustainable travel initiatives at WildChina. He then helped launch One4All, a donation platform for nonprofits, and built partnerships in the Dominican Republic for Fathom, the impact travel arm of Carnival Cruise Lines. At GoodWell, Max oversees daily operations, sales, and marketing efforts.

Max was a leading member of a coalition that convinced Idaho lawmakers to pass benefit corporation legislation in 2015. He also co-founded the Boise Hub of Global Shapers, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. He recently served as treasurer at the Treasure Valley Cycling Alliance, and currently chairs Boise Startup Week's social impact track. 

Max graduated from Colorado College with a degree in International Affairs. He and his girlfriend live in Boise with Ike, their border collie mix. Max loves trail running, backcountry skiing, and hiking.
